Read all. This movie was very simple and tasteless, which made it similar to an American comedy. I can see an American remake in the future.

But not this one

It was quite refreshing for a French comedy, although not the type I like. French comedies usually start out funny and suddenly turn deadly serious towards the end. No one has a hidden edge – Benoit remains clumsy and cowardly from start to finish.

His brother and sister are greedy and pure evil

The Fake Bride has no social respect from start to finish. Only the parents are the same rich and confused couple you see in most French comedies. They were the least interesting because their story is completely predictable in these kinds of movies.

His future is like a regular Sunday night movie on French TV

I’m glad I have an unlimited cinema subscription because cinema ticket prices have gone up so much that I wouldn’t be happy to spend a lot of money on it.
