During the Romanian Revolution of 1989, Sibiu witnesses a violent attack on a police station that escalates into armed clashes between soldiers, police, protesters and the secret police. I had the privilege of watching this tonight, in a preview screening before the actual release, and I can say that I was very happy and relieved to see these stories so well told, and yet it is not a documentary, despite the mountains of research and effort that went into remaking it, creating some of the aspects shown. Probably the best and most mature non-meta Romanian film. Please go out and support the film by seeing it in theaters from October 6th. It is worth it and deserves to be seen if you are remotely interested in Romanian films, stories inspired by history, or indeed great films in general!
