A film that focuses on the breadwinner and her family, a tribute to the unsung heroes who carry the weight of their loved ones' dreams on their shoulders.. It’s hard to explain how I felt watching the film, but with all due respect to the cast and crew of the film, I want to thank those who wrote this masterpiece. For me, the eyes of a Filipino are an eye-opener that working abroad, far from your family is not an easy thing to do, especially when you have an entire family depending on you. Being an OFW myself, I could say that some of the scenes where Vice is in Taiwan are real. Although I don’t experience it myself, some of my co-workers would work day and night to support their families, and it cracks me up every time. I hope Filipinos will someday realize that OFWs are not your ATMs. Their money is unlimited, the future is also not promised. Visas can expire and end at any time, and if that happens, what would be in store for them?
