After decades of loneliness, a wealthy family living in a salt mine encounters a stranger. Joshua Oppenheimer described the film as an exploration of whether we as humans can reach a point where our guilt is too much to recover from our past.
Bunker satire and song musical? Well, I’m baffled but intrigued.
There are at least one or two good actors (especially Tilda Swindon), however, they all embody caricatures of snobs, helpers, working class… There’s no backstory, no depth, no reasoning and for some reason one doesn’t even seem to miss a meal after barely surviving something outside, even if one sings well.
Without spoiling anything, in 3 hours you can expect something like theater with singing and uncovering backstories that you probably could have written yourself for someone you hated (especially if you think global warming should be blamed exclusively on a few rich people).

The documentary reflects on their crimes, their rehabilitation, and the criteria for their eventual release, while exploring the inner workings of parole boards. Set in present-day London, a group of radical activists take over an energy company’s annual gala and take 300 hostages to expose the corruption of their hosts. Their righteous cause is hijacked by an extremist of their own rank, who is set to massacre everyone in the building to send a message of anarchy to the world. It falls to a former soldier-turned-window cleaner, played by Ridley, to suspend herself 50 stories from the outside of a building to rescue those trapped inside, including her younger brother.
The lush, breathtaking beauty of the Alps, shot with painterly grace in natural light from chilly winter to redemptive spring, provides the physical and emotional backdrop for Maura Delpero’s visionary film, Vermiglio, which won the Silver Lion at the 2024 Venice Film Festival
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.. The movie was filmed on location in the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which really does look like that all year round. The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are real-life businesses owned by the family, too.
The square also has Christmas lights just like the ones in the movie.. Well… I’m a Chiefs fan; I’m a Hunter King fan and I’m a Tyler Hines fan. I wish I could stop there, but unfortunately, I have to elaborate.
If you’re not a Chiefs fan, I don’t know how you get through the end of a movie like this. I didn’t think the chemistry between Hines and King was very strong. The writing was so-so, and the overall plot was a little odd.
I liked the supporting cast, and Ed Begley Jr. I thought it was interesting that there was a scene where the entire family was getting hammered with eggnog in a Hallmark movie. I wish I had better things to say.

Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels is tasked with building public support for the Holocaust and the war Hitler is about to start. During a meal on November 9, 1938, Hitler is seen with a glass of beer. Adolf Hitler: [to Magda Goebbels during a meal] Because of people like you, I will have skulls printed on cigarette boxes to ban smoking. Smoking is just as harmful as the corpse of an animal you like so much and I can’t dissuade you from doing it. Scene with Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer before the credits.
Contains Olympia 1. I had the opportunity to sit down and watch "Führer und Verführer" (aka “Führer and Seducer”), and I needed no persuasion to watch this film from writer and director Joachim Lang. If you have even the slightest bit of historical interest, then this is a film you will want to see. Sure, most of us are familiar with the key events of World War II and the outcome of the war, but writer and director Joachim Lang. offers some insight into the mechanics behind the man responsible.
While the events and characters depicted in it are truly heinous and vile, it is a crucial part of world history, and therefore something we cannot and should not ignore. And for that reason alone, "Führer und Verführer" is a film worth seeing. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the film’s 135 minute runtime. Partly because of the plot, but certainly also because of some truly commanding and impressive performances from the cast. Lead actors Robert Stadlober and Fritz Karl, who play Joseph Goebbels and Adolf Hitler respectively, may play some of the most infamous people in history.
the world, but they do it in very compelling and impressive ways, very realistic I would say. They really carry the film well with their performances and I sincerely hope that they get some recognition for their performances in this film. While Fritz Karl portrays Hitler in a disturbing way, he is not as impressive as Bruno Ganz did in the 2004 film “Der Untergang”. Regardless, the entire cast of this 2024 film gave great performances that certainly brought to life on screen not only the story, but certainly the characters they played “Führer und Verführer”. is a film that may not be for almost all viewers, as it is an emotionally strong and moving film, and the fact that writer and director Joachim Lang included real footage from World War II makes it even more impactful.
But then again, right when the film closes by saying, “it happened… and therefore it can happen again,” which rings very true, despite being a disturbingly scary phrase. I was not prepared for the film was as gripping and enthralling as it was, but that made it an even more memorable experience. And so, this is definitely a film that I will recommend you sit down and watch. My rating of writer-director Joachim Lang’s 2024 film "Führer und Verführer".

Using never-before-seen interrogation footage, this investigation of Benjamin Netanyahu and his inner circle provides an unflinching look at the private world behind the headlines.
