Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book has 82 chapters
Chronology
Men and women live in a giant underground silo with different rules that they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about.
Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air
The fans on the floor in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, compared to the orientation of the blades. Featured on WatchMojo: The Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Watch (2023).
It seems like they don’t have a long enough storyline, so they’re trying to stretch out the episodes starting with season 1
The first two episodes were so good they had me on the edge of my seat, but since then they’ve stopped advancing the plot, they keep getting into these dark side stories that are supposed to connect you to a specific character and create a deeper bond with them, but fail miserably at doing so. You can afford three filler episodes in a row in a 15-20 episode season, but when you have a 10 episode plan per season and half of it is eaten up by filler sublines, it just gets boring.
Edit: The above review was written after episode 5 ended, my faith in the series was restored after episode
My wife went from “oh my god there’s a new episode of Silo’s Out let’s gooooo you set up the home theater I’ll go make snacks” to “hey Silo’s Out, wanna watch?”. At this point I’m not even sure we’ll make it through the season, all we need is one filler to completely forget about it.
